Being a record producer isn’t as easy as what you think. It requires a lot of time and patience to make a song like Scared to Be Lonely by Martin Garrix. Most of the record labels don’t find your tracks suitable for them. It might be because it doesn’t sound well or something’s missing. It’s really hard to figure it out. You don’t know what they really need. All you have to do is to make a lot of songs in order to convince them. Much better if you don’t write songs at all. It’s kinda frustrating in a sense that you’re losing hope. Don’t worry; there’s a lot of opportunities besides composing songs.
If you’re really hooked with writing songs, then go for it. Never lose hope. Be patient as always. Time will come and your talent will be discovered by millions of people.
Be creative and imaginative. Make your melodies sound unique. Get an inspiration from other songs, but… don’t copy them. If you do so, you’ll be accused of copyright infringement. Make your own identity. Be your own self, not someone else. Only you can create your own path. Be proud of who you are.
Sorry if my post seems not long enough. Wait for my upcoming post/s.
